Jeune Orchestre Antlantique

- Description : Focus on the interpretation of the Classical and
Romantic repertoire on period instruments. Training courses in orchestral
and chamber music take place in Saintes. These training courses allow young
musicians at the end of their conservatory studies or young professional at
the start of their careers, to study the Classical and Romantic repertoire
on period instruments. During the Festival de Saintes, the Jeune Orchestre
Atlantique gives several concerts under the direction of Philippe Herreweghe
and other invited conductors. The instructors, all members of L'Orchestre
des Champs Elysées, are professors in major French and Europeans
conservatories.
